I don’t know where to begin. I love writing. It’s challenging, but in the best way. “Writing. It hurts so good.” And yes, it does. I write whenever and wherever. And that’s the beauty of it. I make my own schedule and create stories to share with the world.
Most importantly, I don’t have to make unnecessary sacrifices. I’m excited by what I do. I get to speak with great people, read more, and spend my time working on my passion. I never miss out on events (unless I really don’t want to go…) and I get to be with my little family and friends all the time.
I write at home on my laptop, at the library in a notebook, in traffic on my phone. Nothing stops me. Even if I’m sick, my mind still works. I don’t worry about not being able to make it to work or losing pay for missing a day.
Others think I’m crazy or wasting my time, but my work is valuable to me. It provides me with what I want out of life: happiness and freedom.
